Busy Sweets Factory is a PSP Minis game, published by SCEA,
which was released in 2010.
Busy Sweets Factory is another two player game
where you and a friend take control of two aspiring bakers where you both have
to place toppings on cakes and other desserts that make their way down on one
of five conveyer belts. After three rounds you are rated on your performance.
After about thirty seconds into each round you get given a warning before the
conveyer belts speed up and multiple toppings make their way down. You
occasionally get the odd toy robot that somehow made its way onto the conveyer
belts and if decorated by mistake you will be unable to do anything for a few
seconds.
Now unfortunately if you do not have anyone to play the game
with, you will most likely find that it is near impossible to get a half decent
grade at the end of the three rounds as the desserts make their way down way to
fast after the warning is given. Fortunately though no matter how badly you do
in each round there is no game over, whether you want to play the full three
rounds is an entirely different matter. Even when playing with a partner the
game is a little easier but in all honesty it just isn't really all that much
fun. Between frantically trying to top every dessert and avoiding toy robots
while sharing a PSP you can very quickly become frustrated and feed up, somehow
Busy Sweets Factory just doesn't seem worth the money.
Busy Sweets Factory is a PSP Mini that requires two
players to hold the same PSP and play from the sides. This control setup is a
funny little social experiment that has yet to prove its value. However, some
of the fun is derived from the sheer awkwardness of having two people lean over
a single screen while trying to adapt to the strange controls.
The premise is simple and will be familiar to anyone who's
played a music rhythm game. Once the dessert items
reach the foreground they pass through a circle that indicates the position at
which players can squirt some frosting onto the item. Players each have their
own frosting dropper and row of circular targets.
The game works well enough, but it only spans three short
"levels" which are really just speed variations on how fast the
treats travel towards the screen. At the end players are given a score and a
letter grade. Shooting for the top score with a friend can definitely lead to
frantic fun as both players try to coordinate their frosting drops to get the
most points.
There are also robots that take the place of treats and if a
player hits one of those when it comes down the line they'll lose control for a
few seconds. Free Download Busy Sweets Factory and Enjoy Now!
